Hugely honoured to have been selected as a Nominee for the WOMEN OF THE YEAR @womenofyear lunch on Monday, in London, for my contribution to the arts and newly minted status as #LaraCroft. The room was filled with an array of female icons: charity founders, elite athletes, war veterans, cancer survivors, rights activists, business leaders, politicians, Olympians, Paralympians, domestic abuse and rape survivors, authors and artists, space explorers (I met an astronaut 👩‍🚀!) you name it, that woman was there. All the women were remarkable and deeply inspiring, often undertaking journeys of courage that they never should have had to, such as the remarkable @gisele_pelicot who made me cry and told me that women like me were “the future”. @siennathing gave a heartfelt introduction to Gisele’s rightful COURAGE award, which she then dedicated to rape survivors everywhere. In a room of 400 women, statistically speaking, that’s a 100 survivors of rape sat amongst us. And ALL 400 of those women will have experienced sexual harassment and / or assault in their lives, simply for being a woman. The shame is no longer ours to carry, “the shame must change sides” as Gisele says. Mel Giedroyc was our hostess with the most-ess, the room was buzzing, laughter was loud and tears flowed when they needed to. Special shout out to my dinner buddy @yomi.adegoke who I was too busy putting the world to rights with to snap a picture with. Hugest love to: 🪽 @meandem who are the ultimate feminist icon brand sending me this exquisite tailoring for the event, @piaaungstylist for putting it all together, @mariaxmelomua for the glow, @charlottetilbury for the products, @luckylannon for the BTS pics - YOU ARE MY VILLAGE AND HELP ME FLY 🪽 #ShameMustChangeSides #WomenSupportingWomen #WomenOfTheYear #WeAreAllJaneDoe

- zajímá lidi něco o hubnutí víc než moje kůže? ne...🙃 - na jednu stranu to chápu, na druhou stranu mě zaráží, kolik lidí mi pak napíše, že nechtěji hubnout, protože se bojí povadlé kůže...jakože není to žádná krása...ale kůže plná tuku taky ne...🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️
