The most interesting things we’ve seen this week ⬇️

Cover: GTA 6 will reportedly let players interact with an NPC walking a dog, causing them to drop the bag of dog poop they just picked up. Players can then grab the bag and throw it at other characters, adding another unexpected interaction to the game.

Slide 1: iShowSpeed gave nursing student Ben $250K after he tracked down the streamer during a livestreamed scavenger hunt in New York. The challenge used GPS clues and costumed mascots to help viewers find Speed. Ben reportedly had around $2,000 in his bank account before winning.

Slide 2: ‘Clayface’ has a 94% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, matching ‘Obsession.’ The DC horror film follows actor Matt Hagen as he transforms into the shape shifting villain, with a story centered on body horror, identity and revenge.

Slide 3: Jake Paul is returning to boxing on December 24 in Dubai, a year after suffering a broken jaw against Anthony Joshua. His opponent has not been announced.

Slide 4: Apple’s new MacBook Pro introduces touchscreen capabilities for the first time on a Mac. The models feature tandem OLED displays and M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, letting users interact directly with apps and on screen content.

Slide 5: Virgin Media Ireland is offering €100 an hour, around $111 USD, for someone to play GTA 6 for eight hours and post an honest review. The game is included, and the hours can be split across a week. Applicants must live in the Republic of Ireland.

Slide 6: Pokémon Center’s new kitchen collection takes inspiration from Miltank and Moomoo Milk, the drink from the Pokémon world. Items include a milk caddy, apron, utensils, ceramic creamer, plates, mugs, placemats and coasters.

Slide 7: Jay-Z will headline the Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The announcement comes during the 30th anniversary year of his debut album, ‘Reasonable Doubt.’

Slide 8: The Milwaukee Brewers won the first World Series title in franchise history, defeating the Tampa Bay Rays 4-1 in Game 5. It ends a 44 year wait since their last World Series appearance in 1982.

Football looks good on him 😮‍💨✨

Is everyone okay with me libbing out during the Bills game? 🫪

But in all seriousness, it was great to see @nycmayor again, meet @aoc for the first time, and thank Gov. @govkathyhochul for passing MAiD in New York State. When my husband was dying of terminal cancer in 2022, he wished he had the bodily autonomy to end his life on his terms instead of suffering from immense pain every single day while his body slowly starved him to death. It was so insane to us that right across the river, just a few miles away, NJ allowed terminally ill patients to end their lives on their own terms while in New York—the state Rob was born, raised, lived, and died in—that option wasn’t available to him. It was the ultimate betrayal.

Earlier this year, Hochul signed off on legislation that offers this option to terminally ill New Yorkers, and it finally went into law a few months ago. While Rob and I both wished he was able to do this when he was living out his final months, I’m glad other people in Rob’s situation will have access to more control over the end of their lives. We understand it is cruel to force our household pets to suffer from painful terminal illnesses. I’m glad this common sense is being extended to terminally ill human beings who can decide for themselves how they want to go out when fate has already made the ultimate decision for them.

(And I’m sure Rob would be glad that his fellow WNYer did all of this…on top of finally getting the congestion pricing program up and running, so thanks for that too!)

Go out and vote (for Dems), everyone.

And go Bills 💙🤘🏾❤️
