The place to get the single most lucrative degree in the U.S. wasn’t in the Ivy League, and it wasn’t in a computer science program. It was in the mathematics department at Duke, where the median income among graduates was $297,029.

That was one of the surprises that emerged from an analysis by the HEA Group, a higher education research firm, of earnings data that the federal government has collected.

We built a tool to help you explore the data. If you’re interested in one college in particular, you can view all of the available majors and see the earnings of recent alumni. You can also search by major — say, to see how economics majors do at different institutions. If you’re in the middle of considering college applications, you can create a custom list of universities to examine side by side.

Check it out at the link in our bio or in our app.

Went to LA Tuesday night for the PHONY premiere! ✨
Can’t wait for y’all to see this one! It’s funny, mysterious, and full of surprises. Had a great time making this with such a dope cast and crew. Sending love to everyone who brought it to life!
#PHONY premieres October 20 on @hulu and Hulu on @disneyplus !

Protesters in Japan gathered outside the US Embassy in Tokyo. Using loudspeakers, they shouted slogans in front of the building as police forces tried to prevent them from approaching the embassy.

A new case of femicide involving a US Marine in Okinawa has renewed outrage among locals over the enormous US military presence in Japan.

Protesters shouted "US out of Okinawa!" and "Free, free Okinawa!" They also held banners in solidarity with countries facing US imperialist aggression, including Iran, Palestine and Cuba.

Okinawa hosts the largest concentration of US military forces in Japan. The country also hosts the largest overseas US military deployment in the world, with around 55,000 troops stationed there.

Okinawa also bears a disproportionate share of the crimes that continue to make headlines. According to Okinawa Prefecture, US military bases were linked to 6,163 criminal cases between 1972 and 2022.

Prime Minister Takaichi has vowed to strengthen Japan's military ties with the US as part of her unprecedented military buildup, marking the country's largest rearmament since World War II.

@chriswardlondon has taken one of its wildest movements and dressed it up for a black-tie dinner. And frankly, the results are rather spectacular. 🎩

Meet the new C1 Loco Classic, the latest addition to Christopher Ward’s ambitious Atelier collection. Beneath its beautifully domed ceramic dial sits the same CW-003 movement found in the futuristic C12 Loco, complete with an exposed, free-sprung balance wheel and an impressive six-day power reserve.

The new Classic features a traditionally styled 41mm case, extensively hand-finished movement bridges and a shimmering dial containing powdered mother-of-pearl. We got our hands on the gorgeous light blue version, and it’s an absolute treat in person. The sapphire caseback offers another impressive view of the movement’s intricate architecture.

Already nominated for a 2026 GPHG award, the C1 Loco Classic starts at £4,295 / US$5,995.

👉 Swipe through for a closer look, and tell us: do you prefer the classical styling of the C1 Loco Classic or the futuristic design of the original C12 Loco?
