The primaries are over, and the field is set. Control of the U.S. Senate is up for grabs. And Republicans increasingly find themselves on defense as they try to hold on to their majority in the chamber. Here are the races that will decide which party controls the Senate next year, from the battlegrounds Democrats need to hold to the Republican-held states they need to flip.

Dems are probably gonna win Alaska, Ohio and north Carolina while retaining their seats. If it's a good night for Dems they'll also carry Texas and Maine. If it's a seismic night for Dems they're also gonna win Iowa, Kansas, florida and the independents will win in Nebraska and Idaho. If that's the case if expect better man to declare his independence and we might have a true four member independent caucus in the Senate

Everyone is sleeping on South Carolina. Right now all the polling has this Senate Race essentially as a tossup because it's 1-2 point margins and obviously the margin of error is usually about 3 points. Also many right wing people like me refuse to vote for Darline and I'm actually voting for Annie Andrews.
