I’ve returned to Gilead again and again over the years because of the way Marilynne Robinson finds meaning in the seemingly ordinary moments of our lives.

For A Great Book, my friend @TomHanks joined me to revisit the novel and talk about faith, fatherhood, mortality, and what it means to slow down and appreciate the time we have with the people we love.

Sara Ali Khan ❤️‍🔥

Sara Ali Khan recently visited Jaipur alongside co-star Ayushmann Khurrana to promote their upcoming spy-comedy film Udta Teer.

Highlights of the Jaipur Visit

Soaking in Rajasthani Culture: The duo visited the popular cultural village Chokhi Dhani, where they immersed themselves in local traditions.

They danced alongside traditional folk artists to Kalbelia dance tunes and enjoyed traditional puppet shows (Kathputli performance).

Archery & Fun Games: During the promotional activities, Sara and Ayushmann tried their hand at traditional games. Sara notably hit the bullseye during an archery session, while Ayushmann humorously joked about the sunny October weather in Jaipur.

Culinary Favorites: When interacting with the media, Sara shared her love for authentic Rajasthani cuisine, mentioning a particular fondness for Dal Baati Churma.
Fan & Media Interaction: Draped in stunning ethnic attire, Sara greeted the crowds, posed for local paparazzi, and brought immense energy to the Pink City ahead of the film’s theatrical release.

About the Film: Udta Teer
Genre: A unique mix of comedy, action, and spy-thriller elements.

Plot Preview: Ayushmann Khurrana plays a Pakistani intelligence agent who loses his memory following an explosion and mistakenly believes he is part of India’s anti-terror team, leading to a series of comedic mix-ups. Sara Ali Khan plays a pivotal role in the narrative.

Crew & Release: Directed by Akash A. Kaushik and backed by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, the film is scheduled to hit theaters on October 23, 2026.
