What area do you service at? Your numbers are way different than mine and I've done this about 30yrs..

If you’re using flex duct you’re not going to be getting that 100 cfm on a 6” supply run it’s more like 80 cfm per 6” run flex.

I don't know where you live...but where i lived..5 tons for 2000 Sq ft...2000 cfm = 1 cfm per Sq ft...

an airflow series is such a good idea, duct sizing is where so many installs go wrong 👌 what's the topic for episode 2?

You are absolutely correct. That is how I have been sizing for 43 years. The younger guys think that is incorrect.

Great job Alex. Thank you so much for providing this information as you mentioned this is a very overlooked part of our trade and so many people get it wrong. Thanks again for the awesome video.🔥🙏🏾🙏🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Great video. Most of the time I use my ductulator to do this, makes things easier when you learn how to use it. My advice is to always start from the plenum and reduce the branches sizes while you are going away from the AHU.

This is cap this is not how u size duct I have never sized it by counting branches ur doing way more work and that’s a general rule of thumb u need to think about the Btus not a/c always by heat in Canada cooling is a luxury
