SHE JOINED UNINVITED AND BECAME EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH IN JUST THREE WEEKS! 🐱😂 Sometimes, all it takes to land your dream job is showing up, getting comfortable, and refusing to leave! During a routine delivery, a stray cat reportedly wandered into a store and discovered a pile of warm, cozy cardboard boxes. Clearly impressed with the working conditions, she decided to make the place her new home. 🐾 Within just three weeks, the little feline had become a familiar face among customers, secured her own lunch spot, and even earned a place on the staff photo board. But the biggest surprise came when her portrait was officially displayed as “Employee of the Month.” 🏆 When a cashier questioned what she had actually done to deserve the recognition, the manager reportedly had the perfect response: “People come in specifically to see her.” And considering how much cats love warm, comfortable spaces, those cardboard boxes might have been the reason she stayed in the first place. She showed up without a résumé, attended zero interviews, and still became everyone's favourite employee!❤️ 📷 via: @softcatmemes #sarcasm #cat #cute #cats #love

This has been almost 10 years in the making. I quickly realized I wouldn’t be happy with a low-quality, generic wah enclosure, so I decided to design a custom wah from scratch. One thing I knew I had to fix was the squeaky friction block found in most wah pedals. I designed a brass and stainless steel block with low friction that doesn’t need grease. There are so many upgrades to the mechanical side of things, along with a complete overhaul of the inductor and circuit. This is a classic wah, finessed. #guitarpedals #wahwah #guitar
Apple updated the Apple Music icon to a monochrome design in iOS 27.2 beta 4. The update also swaps the app's classic red accents for blue and introduces black widget backgrounds. https://www.macrumors.com/2026/10/13/ios-27-2-apple-music-icon/
In late 2024, Kimberly Guilfoyle was named the U.S. Ambassador to Greece, a country with which she had no clear ties. She had previously been engaged to the President’s son Donald Trump, Jr. On Tuesday, Guilfoyle was forced to resign, a year into the post, due to financial misdeeds, including beseeching a Trump donor to wire her a $100,000 to pay her American Express bill. (“Honey please I need you to get this done for me today,” Guilfoyle texted the donor.) “The paradox of Trump Administration corruption is that the most egregious offenders—the President chief among them—operate in plain sight and on a grand scale,” Ruth Marcus writes. “Guilfoyle was guilty of what is, to Trump, a capital offense: her reported grift may have been comparatively small, but it failed to benefit the President and, indeed, made him look bad,” Marcus continues. For that, she was expelled.
