He would have loved this. Loved seeing them all grow up together. My dad was the oldest son of 6 and he loved, LOVED being from a big family.

He passed away when I was a teenager. He never got to teach me to drive, see me serve in the military, walk me down the aisle, or meet any of my children. When you lose someone you love so deeply, especially at a young age, it changes you. It changes how you see life, what you value, and how much you appreciate the people you get to share it with.

He would have loved that I keep saying yes to trusting God with our family, and that it’s resulted in a ton of kids.

Of all the things I’ve accomplished in my life, I know this is what he would have been most proud of.

Miss you Daddy.

Awe Pirate Tower, Laguna Beach, Ca. Classic spot for pics. My daughter took her college grad pics there last Summer.

I think of that all the time. I love having family furniture and their knick knacks and art in my home so my kids feel Them.

Aww, ditto. My Dad died when I was 18 very unexpectedly. I was a Daddy’s girl. He never got to meet my husband or my four amazing kids. So thankful for Jesus and Heaven❤️

I call this “pop up grief” I get it too. It comes up suddenly. I too think about how my dad would have loved our son and all the great things he’s doing. I wish he was here and I want to call him and tell him about it all.

Thanks for sharing! I also wonder how life would have been ... my son, now 13, never got to meet his grandpa. My dad passed too early too (49) - 31 years ago exactly - I was 19. Unfortunately, same storyline for my mom's dad, never met my grandpa on my mom's side. Hoping it stops here!

Oh darlin your father sees everything. I know that I know that I know you feel him. Grief is a very funny thing, but what it isn’t is a stealer of memories.
