I don’t think I’ve ever been so deeply moved by a love story. There is something almost unbearable about the beauty of what they shared and the heartbreak of everything they never got to have. Even now, just thinking about them brings tears to my eyes. I find myself grieving for a love that wasn’t even mine, and for all the people who were denied the freedom to love so openly. One of the greatest love stories ever written. The way the show portrayed life back in the 1950 and beyond was definitely a masterpiece. It shows how much courage it took for our community to love someone who the world said we should not love. Still to this day, this show brings me to tears. Thank you to everyone who paved the way for so many to be free today to love who they chose to love. Thank you from the bottom of my heart❤️❤️
