I think a lot of people base Subaru’s reliability on cars that have been tuned and then abused. I still see many stock Subaru vehicles that are 15 plus years old on the road, proper maintenance will keep them going.

Subarus are reliable when you build them right. Subarus are considered unreliable due to user error I've built three ej engines and not one blew up
