Noble’s fifth graders have discovered just how much of a difference they can make when it comes to protecting our environment, one piece of trash at a time.

During a beautiful fall morning at Wendy Park and Whiskey Island, students rolled up their sleeves and spread out along 100 meters of shoreline to help clean up their city beach through the Adopt-A-Beach program.

Working alongside staff members and parent volunteers, students collected, sorted, tracked and weighed the debris they have found. By the end of the cleanup, the group removed more than 100 pounds of trash from the shoreline. 🔗 in bio for full story
