St. Luke’s University Health Network is proud to announce the establishment of the DaRe Family Chair for Medical Education, the Network’s first endowed chair specifically dedicated to medical education.

Made possible through the generosity of Adrienne and Tony DaRe, the endowment will support the Temple/St. Luke’s School of Medicine and advance priorities including student financial aid, faculty development and educational innovation.

The announcement was celebrated by Adrienne and Tony DaRe, Dr. Shaden Eldakar-Hein, Robert Wax, Esq., Senior Vice President and General Counsel, and Adam Stauffer, Associate Vice President, Development.

As Adrienne DaRe shared, “Education can change the trajectory of a person, a family and ultimately an entire community.”

Congratulations to Shaden Eldakar-Hein MD MS, HEC-C, FACP, Chief Academic Officer and Senior Associate Dean of the Temple/St. Luke’s School of Medicine, on being named the inaugural DaRe Family Chair for Medical Education. Dr. Eldakar-Hein’s leadership and commitment to educating the next generation of physicians have been instrumental in the continued growth and success of the medical school.
