⬇️⬇️⬇️ 💦 THE ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE WATER RIDE STRATEGY!

One thing you need to know before visiting: you can get absolutely SOAKED on the water rides here. And I mean properly soaked - soggy bottom, the lot 🤭

Here’s how I’d plan around them.

💧 1. Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges

This is not the ride to squeeze in just before riding indoor rides or inside lunch if you don’t want to eat in wet clothes! You can get absolutely drenched, so plan accordingly.

💧 2. Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls

Don’t assume you’ll escape this one dry either. Think about when you ride it and what you’re wearing.

💧 3. Jurassic Park River Adventure - (when it opens back up)

You can get wet on this one too, particularly depending on where you’re sitting, so don’t assume it’s a guaranteed dry alternative.

👕 4. Think about your clothes.

Quick-drying clothing is your friend. Heavy cotton clothing can stay wet and uncomfortable for ages - DO NOT WEAR DENIM - trust me it’s a bad idea!!

🎒 5. Protect your belongings.

Keep your phone and anything else you don’t want wet somewhere waterproof. Don’t assume a bag will keep everything dry - if you have a non rider - leave them with them.

☀️ 6. Make the Florida heat work for you.

If you’re going to ride the water attractions, think about when you’ll appreciate getting wet and when you might want to be dry again.

My biggest tip? Group your water rides together rather than getting soaked halfway through your day and spending hours in wet clothes! - we do them just before heading out for our lunch break 👌🏼

💦 Are you team WATER RIDES or team I’M NOT GETTING MY HAIR WET? 😂
