“Legally Blonde” Star Selma Blair Allegedly Bit Flight Attendant Midair And Kicked Cop In The Head: Now Federal Charges Are Looming Blogged by: Grace L. “Legally Blonde” actress Selma Blair is facing serious legal trouble after allegedly biting a flight attendant, punching another, and attempting to open an airplane door midair before reportedly kicking a police officer in the head. The disturbing encounter unfolded aboard a Delta Air Lines flight from Los Angeles to New York on Sunday, October 11, and reportedly continued even after the plane landed. According to TMZ, the 54-year-old “Legally Blonde” star became aggressive during the flight, allegedly attacking two crew members and attempting to open an aircraft door while thousands of feet in the air. Flight attendants ultimately restrained Blair before the plane arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport, where law enforcement officers were waiting. The alleged attacks left one flight attendant with a reported bite injury, while another was allegedly punched. Authorities have not publicly detailed the full extent of the crew members’ injuries. However, the situation reportedly became even more chaotic after Blair was removed from the aircraft. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the actress repeatedly kicked a Port Authority police officer in the head while being transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation. Once she arrived at the medical facility, Blair allegedly assaulted a nurse, who subsequently pressed charges. The specific injuries reportedly sustained by the officer and nurse have not been publicly disclosed. Blair’s alleged behavior has now landed her in legal trouble on both the state and federal levels. According to PEOPLE, the actress is facing two assault charges in New York connected to the alleged attacks on the police officer and hospital nurse. She was scheduled to appear in Queens Criminal Court on Monday, October 12, for arraignment.
Senator Bello Mandiya Found De@d 72 Hours After He Reportedly Slipped and Hit His Head in the Bathroom in Abuja Senator Abdul Ningi has recounted how former senator Bello Mandiya reportedly d+ed after slipping in his bathroom and hitting his head, with his body discovered about 72 hours later at his Abuja residence. Ningi, who represents Bauchi Central Senatorial District, narrated the incident during a Senate plenary session, revealing that he was in Saudi Arabia when his son called to inform him of Mandiya’s de@th. According to Ningi, Mandiya was last seen by a colleague at about 11am on Friday, September 4, 2026, before returning to his residence, where he lived alone. He said Mandiya was preparing to attend Friday prayers when he reportedly slipped and hit his head after bathing. “He brought out his cap, his phones, and put them on the bed, and went into the bathroom to take his bath,” Ningi said. “After taking his bath, when he was out of the bathroom, then he slipped and knocked his head in the bathroom.” Ningi explained that Mandiya’s body was discovered on Monday, September 7, after a foul smell from his apartment raised concerns among neighbours. The chief imam of Apo also reportedly became concerned after Mandiya missed prayers for three consecutive days. Residents eventually broke open the door and found the former lawmaker’s body in the bathroom. “For 72 hours, Mr President, nobody knew where Bello Mandiya was,” Ningi told the Senate. Expressing sadness over the incident, Ningi said the tragedy was a reminder of life’s uncertainty and that wealth and political positions could not guarantee permanence. “There is nothing permanent about anything. Nothing permanent about our position, nothing permanent about our wealth,” he said. Mandiya represented Katsina South Senatorial District under the All Progressives Congress from 2019 to 2023 and previously served as chief of staff to former Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari and chaired the Senate Committee on Water Resources.
It’s such a tricky time to talk about Paris and style. When I shot these images the protests were only beginning and although I could sometimes hear the drama playing out in Place de le Republique everything around Le Marais was business as usual - even the Marche couvert des Enfants Rouges was still going strong. However Paris , like New York, is strong and will come through this even stronger. I hope you enjoys the images because they really are strong and can hopefully ring a little inspiration in a heavy moment.
