Having good role-models is important in life. These two legends are two of the people I look up to most in my life. They are my two work-mothers. One for my job as a physician (in red), and one for my job as a stand up comedian (in white). They both happen to be Greek and all of us happen to be Orthodox which is cool. They’re literally both like an aunt to me and Irene and two of our closest friends.

Today, worlds-collided and they finally met for the first time for a collaborative effort as we hosted our Skilled Nursing Facility Stand Up Comedy Show. Such a special moment for me personally as a physician and stand up.

God has always been so generous with placing some of the best people in my life.
