While his cooking and content creation skills were honed out of a desire to people-please, they eventually led to a full-time career. I’m honestly not even sure where to start this post…….. My heart is so overcome with gratitude and emotion this morning. I can barely type these words. But today, after immense heartbreak and devastation that should have taken me out, I get to tell you the story of the greatest unfolding that I never could have planned or orchestrated in my own power. What you will read is actually the fourth version of this book. The first version was in my head during my divorce. I wanted to tell you all of the terrible things that were done to me. The second version is the story. I started writing when I thought I would self publish. The third version was after I had an agent. And it started with the terrible things that happened. And we were rejected by every publisher. This is the version our Father wants you to read. I bring you through the beautiful story of renovating my 1926 cottage alongside the renovation of my life. There are definitely twist and turns built-in. But it’s my hope that this book inspires you to find your own bright side, despite immense heartache, grief, or trials. But if you somehow have skipped through life without that, I this book will inspire you to live your life in a way that shows kindness, determination, grit and glory. Here is The Bright Side of the Other Side for the world to read. Type BOOK if you want the link to start reading today. We had the most beautiful book launch party this past weekend. Thank you thank you to all who came out to celebrate. Thank you to @nivenmorgan for blessing everyone with products. 💗 Thank you @jdblase @thebindery.agency @lisajobaker @wpublishing @thomasnelson @harpercollinschristian @harpercollins for believing in me. 💗😭💗😭 Ephesians 3:20 and Romans 8:28 came true for me and it will come true for you too. I believe that with my whole heart. Party produced by: @sarahoverallevents Florals: @briannabeltondesign Content: @circle.m.productions Music: @winston_hall Onwards and upwards we go. 💗💗💗 #newbook #newauthor #louisianalove #bookparty #thebrightsidebook
I like a three way…at least when it comes to skin care. The NEW @lorealparis Triple Power Rich Night Moisturizer works overnight to help firm, smooth + brighten — all in one step. #LOrealParisPartner #LOrealTriplePower #Skincare
33 years ago today, Xscape released their debut studio album, Hummin’ Comin’ at ’Cha, on October 12, 1993. The project introduced the Atlanta quartet’s powerhouse harmonies and helped establish them as one of the defining R&B groups of the ’90s. The album featured signature records like “Just Kickin’ It,” “Understanding,” “Love on My Mind,” and “Tonight,” with production led by Jermaine Dupri and Manuel Seal Jr. Hummin’ Comin’ at ’Cha became a platinum-selling debut and helped launch both Xscape and So So Def into the mainstream, leaving a lasting mark on ’90s R&B. 🔊 💡Did You Know? The album peaked at No. 17 on the Billboard 200 and No. 3 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. #Xscape #HumminCominAtCha #JustKickinIt #OnThisDay #SoSoDef
