Got up at 5am and took the super cool train up to Km 104 to hike the rest of the Inka Trail the rest of the way to Machu Picchu - 7 miles and 2338 vertical feet!!! Such a beautiful hike through the Andes…picturesque for every step. This has been a dream and I finally did it! So worth it! Amazing to think how they built this and how they lived in these mountains…and still do in many parts. @backroadstravel
