Yung Miami Calls Album Of The Year Early: How “Tea Time” And “Spend Dat” Set The Stage For “Watch Dis” Blogged by: Draggy Yung Miami is putting the pressure on herself as she prepares to release her debut solo album, “Watch Dis.” With the rapper declaring, “AOTY drops in 11 days!!!,” Caresha Brownlee is making it clear that she believes her upcoming project belongs in the Album of the Year conversation. Scheduled for October 23, 2026, “Watch Dis” represents a defining moment for the former City Girls rapper. After years of facing questions about her ability to succeed independently, Yung Miami has spent 2026 building momentum through viral releases, growing fan engagement, and her biggest solo hit to date. Much of that momentum can be traced to two records: “Tea Time” and “Spend Dat.” While the songs found success in different ways, both helped establish the personality, confidence, and musical direction behind her upcoming album. According to Billboard’s interview with Yung Miami, “Tea Time,” released in February 2026, was designed to generate conversation and remind listeners of her cultural influence. Miami described the song as a cultural reset, explaining that she wanted people talking and participating in the moment. The record leaned into her unapologetic personality, delivering the kind of outspoken energy that helped make her a familiar name beyond music. Although “Tea Time” did not produce major Billboard Hot 100 success, it generated social media attention and helped reintroduce Yung Miami as an artist developing her own identity. For Caresha, that visibility mattered. She was no longer promoting music alongside JT, and every release carried additional pressure to demonstrate what she could accomplish on her own. The transition had been building for years. In 2021, Miami released “Rap Freaks,” a provocative solo record that reached No. 81 on the Billboard Hot 100. She later followed with “50/50” and her Skilla Baby collaboration “CFWM” in 2024, continuing to experiment with her sound while navigating public criticism. However, “Spend Dat” became the record that significantly changed the conversation.

The coziest fall dinner we’ve been obsessed with…. Packed with nutrients! Full recipe 👇🏼 APPLE CIDER BRAISED POT ROAST 🥩🍎 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 2-3 lb chuck roast Salt and pepper to taste 2 tbsp gluten free all purpose flour To a large (oven safe) pot like a Dutch oven, add oil and turn the heat to medium. Once warm, add the roast to the pot and coat with salt, pepper, and gf flour. Let the roast brown on each side for 2-3 minutes before flipping. Remove from the pot. 1 yellow onion, sliced 1 full head of garlic, minced Leave the brown bits then add in onion & garlic and let cook for a minute or so. 1 cup beef bone broth (I use @kettleandfire ) 1/2 - 1 cup apple cider 1 tbsp Italian seasoning 1 tbsp rosemary 2 tsp ginger powder Pour in bone broth and apple cider to deglaze the pan. Use a spatula to scrape off the brown bits. Stir in the spices. 6-8 large carrots, cut into 2 inch sticks 1 lb baby yellow potatoes Then, add the roast back in and add in potatoes and carrots. Let the mixture cook for 10-15 minutes until bubbling. Then, cover and put in the oven on 375F for 3 hours. 2 tbsp apple butter, optional Once done, remove from the oven and brush the apple butter directly onto the roast. Put the pot back in the oven, without the lid, and let the roast cook for 30 more minutes uncovered. Enjoy!!! #fallrecipes #guthealth #antiinflammatory #healthyrecipes #highprotein
