This is Santa Maria Antiqua, an ancient Christian church inside the Roman Forum, with paintings dating back more than 1,000 years.
Walking through it, you’re surrounded by images of Jesus, biblical stories, and people whose faith shaped how they lived and what they were willing to sacrifice.
What moved me was seeing how faith carried into their service, their suffering, and even the way they approached death.
It’s easy to say we follow Jesus. These stories challenge us to consider how deeply we’re allowing Him to change the way we live.
