This is such a cool way to represent what you and your siblings do in a day. I’m curious about your last name….I speak Italian and it sounds Italian but if it is it seems like the announcers at meets are always saying it wrong. It’s the feminine past participle of the verb “fare” so for example, “La pizza è stata fatta a mano”. So it should be pronounced in Italian like “fat” (opposite of thin) then “uh” not like “fay” then “tuh”. I’m so confused 🤣

16:33 5K PB 🚨 Today, I raced the TCS Toronto Waterfront 5K, one of my favourite races of the year, and finished third overall 🥉 in a new personal best of 16:33. The race also served as the @athleticsont Provincial 5K Road Championships, where I earned the 🥈. Big congratulations to @courtneyhufsmith on winning the race for the fourth year in a row! One of my biggest goals for the road season was to break the U18 Canadian National Record of 16:31. I came just a couple of seconds short today, but the good news is that I still have a few more years to chase it. I’m really happy with the consistency I’ve shown across my three road 5Ks this season: 16:39, 16:46, and now 16:33. One of the things I love most about this race weekend is the Race Expo! It’s always so much fun seeing familiar faces, catching up with people I haven’t seen in a while, and being surrounded by so many people who share the same love for running. 🫶🏼 Thank you to the team at @runcrs for putting on an amazing event, to @asicscanada for always supporting me, and to my coaches Peter and Ahj for always believing in me. Overall, I’m really happy with my road racing season and the progress I’ve made. A controversy has erupted in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad after Muslims and other non-Hindus were asked to leave a high-profile Navratri garba event during a performance by popular folk singer Aditya Gadhvi. The announcement, made from the stage by anchor and radio jockey Akash Trivedi, drew criticism on social media. The incident took place on Wednesday at the “Rang Morla ft Aditya Gadhvi” event, held at Savvana Party Plot on Shela Road in Ahmedabad. A video circulating online shows Trivedi asking non-Hindus and Muslims in the audience to leave the venue, citing the presence of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP). “A humble request to any ‘vidharmi’ (non-Hindus) and Muslims to leave the ground. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad has come here to protect Sanatan Dharma,” Trivedi said in the video.
