📸: Dok. The last time Walter White saw his son. 💔 R.J. Mitte gave ‘Breaking Bad’ some of its most painfully human moments with his performance as Walt Jr., bringing a sense of genuine warmth, sincerity, and vulnerability that made him an integral part of the series. In “Felina”, the final episode of ‘Breaking Bad’, Walt watches from a distance as his son returns home from school. He never gets to say goodbye, and Walt Jr. never even knows that he’s there. After everything that happened between them, the silence says enough. Across five seasons, Mitte captured Walt Jr.’s changing relationship with his father with remarkable honesty. He made his love and admiration feel so genuine that watching those feelings slowly give way to anger and heartbreak became all the more devastating, as Walt Jr. came to realize that the man he had always looked up to was the one that was tearing his life and family apart. Rest in peace, R.J. Mitte. Gone too soon.
