Introducing ‘EVERY MILE’ 🥹💙

A collection that means more to me than I could ever put into words.

Inspired by a silk painting I created for my Nan when I was at school. A painting that has now become something so much bigger than I ever imagined.

A few months ago, whilst sitting in Cornwall looking out over Polzeath, I had this wild idea…

What if I turned my Nan’s painting into a collection, ran a half marathon (with absolutely no training 🤣) last time I ran one was over 3 years ago! and raised as much money as I possibly could for @longfield_care?

Longfield cared for my Nan during the final two weeks of her life. She needed round-the-clock care, and they gave her exactly that. The love, kindness and dignity they showed her is something I will never forget. So we’re donating 10% before vat of the collection revenue to Longfield.

And now I want to give something back. 🤍

EVERY MILE launches at 9am on 25th October, just as I set off to run 13.1 miles in memory of my Nan. 🏃‍♀️

But we’re not stopping at a collection…

We’re bringing something really special to the Stroud Half Marathon race village!

We’ve created a whole experience for runners and their supporters, including a HUGE photo wall where you can write WHO ARE YOU RUNNING FOR?

Whether you’re running for someone you’ve lost, someone you love, someone who’s fighting their own battle, or simply for YOURSELF. Every mile has a meaning.

We’ll also have a medal photo area and a selfie pod that prints your photos instantly, so you can take home a little keepsake of everything you’ve achieved that day. 🥹

Something we’ve never seen done at a half marathon before, and something I hope makes the day even more special for everyone taking part.

10% of revenue from the collection will go directly to Longfield, helping them continue providing the incredible care they gave my Nan to other families who need it.

I don’t know how I’m going to get through 13.1 miles with very little training, but I do know exactly who I’ll be running for.

Every mile is for you, Nan. 🤍
