Well the floors are finished! We really never thought the day would come. Holy moly what an undertaking! We knew that we would have to get them done before Halloween or they just wouldn’t happen until Spring. We made the plan to pull up the carpet and never looked back! The century old floors were beautiful in some areas but an absolute nightmare in others. It didn’t matter either way because we loooove black painted floors! We had lots of repair work to do, as well as a fresh coat of white on all the trim and stairs. Quite a chore! Once we started priming it started feeling real. We used tape and water bottles to create a little fence to keep Danny from wandering into freshly primed areas. It’s so funny that he wouldn’t even consider jumping the tape. Haha The fresh black floor just makes all of the pastels and candy colors pop! The stairs remind me of piano keys. We went with a simple pink area rug and runner and it really makes the space cozy. As soon as I rolled out the rug I had this feeling that didn’t make sense but also made all the sense in the world, I thought “I think Barb (Aaron’s mom) will like this.” As if she was going to be visiting soon. But we’d like to think that Barb & Skip have been watching over the entire process. 🥹
The new/old house is larger than our previous home so our collectibles are dispersed throughout the rooms leaving the living room to be a very calm, spare, pretty space. Well I just wanted to share a house update and get these pics posted before everything gets Spooky! Thanks for reading and checking in! 💗🤓🤓🐕

What the graph doesn’t tell you: how much of that traffic was disinformation bots.

It’s one big bucket of all Yandex traffic, and crawlers and normal business services make up most of it. A 99% drop means Yandex’s servers stopped talking to the internet. It doesn’t mean Russian troll accounts went quiet.

I mean I hope it means that too but what an exciting space to watch!

the sweetest days

Hapa Simba wamepigwa walisikika wahuni fulani 🗣️

COOL ASH BROWN, and one of my favourite ways to soften grey.

Grey blending doesn’t always have to mean going lighter.

Sometimes a beautiful light cool ash brown is exactly what the hair needs, soft enough to blur the contrast of the natural grey, but with enough depth to keep the colour looking rich, polished and dimensional.

The goal is never to create a hard line that has to be chased every few weeks.

It’s about making the grey feel like part of the colour rather than something we’re constantly fighting.

Soft. Cool. Natural. And SO much easier to live with.

Would you blend your grey like this?
