وقتی به این تصویر نگاه می‌کنم، شاهزاده‌ای را می‌بینم که نه‌تنها شاهد تاریخ بوده، بلکه خود بخشی از تاریخ معاصر ایران است؛ مردی که در گردباد حوادث سیاسی خاورمیانه، فراز و نشیب‌های بی‌شمار و دهه‌ها دوری از وطن، همچنان بر آرمان آزادی ایران ایستاده است.
در کنار او، شهبانویی را می‌بینم که عشق به ایران در قلب اش همچنان زنده است؛ مادری که در تمام این سال‌ها، در کنار فرزندش، با رنج دوری از وطن و امید به آزادی سرزمینش زندگی کرده است.
چه پیوند عمیقی میان مادر و پسری که با وجود تمام سال‌های دوری، هنوز دل در گرو ایران دارند؛ عشقی که نه تبعید توانسته از آن بکاهد، نه گذر زمان و نه طوفان‌های سهمگین سیاست. گویی ایران، نه فقط سرزمین مادری آن‌ها، بلکه بخشی جدایی‌ناپذیر از هویت و جانشان است.
تاریخ درباره این سال‌ها قضاوت خواهد کرد، اما آنچه در این تصویر بیش از هر چیز به چشم می‌آید، پیوندی است میان عشق مادر و فرزند، عشق به میهن و امید به روزی که آزادی دوباره به ایران بازگردد.
زادروز شاهزاده رضا پهلوی خجسته؛ به امید روزی که این مادر و پسر، در کنار مردم ایران، طلوع فصلی تازه را در تاریخ سرزمینشان جشن بگیرند؛ روزی که دوری به دیدار، اندوه به شادی و آرزوی آزادی به واقعیت تبدیل شود.

When I look at this photograph, I see a prince who has not merely witnessed history, but has himself become part of Iran’s modern history. A man who, amid the political turmoil of the Middle East, countless twists and turns, and decades of exile from his homeland, has remained steadfast in his commitment to a free Iran.

Beside him, I see an Empress whose love for Iran still lives on in her heart; a mother who, throughout all these years, has endured the pain of separation from her homeland while holding on to hope for the freedom of her country.

There is a profound bond between a mother and a son who, despite all the years of separation, still hold Iran close to their hearts. A love that neither exile nor the passage of time nor the fiercest political storms have been able to diminish. It is as though Iran is not merely their ancestral homeland, but an inseparable part of their very identity and soul.
