Hearing @davidebybc and the @bcndp say that women’s health care is health care is so important. I was asked to give my thoughts on how to improve midlife care for women in BC and shared my thoughts, which included vaginal estrogen available from a pharmacist, making a neurokinin receptor antagonist part of the pharmacare coverage (because we should be providing medication for women who cannot take hormones as well), and doing the work though appropriate surveys to understand the gaps in care so we can be guided by evidence, which is what women deserve.

I also had a chance to meet many amazing MLAs and candidates and what an amazing group of women!!!

I hope to continue to support the NDP in making care better for women in BC.

Also, the combination of amazing research from UBC and policies from the NDP has brought women many amazing advances in care! Let’s continue down that path.
