The way she look at me… like somehow she still sees the man I’m trying to become, not just the one I’ve been. Standing on top of Mount Chiliad with my wife, the whole city shining beneath us, and somehow she’s still the only view I can’t take my eyes off of. That look in her eyes got a way of making everything else disappear. ❤️‍🔥💍🏔️

Njemačka je posljednjih 6–7 godina, a pogotovo u zadnje dvije, postala teško dno. Užas! Svaki dan sve više gledam što se događa oko mene i pitam se dokle je ova zemlja došla. Paketi se otvaraju, stvari nestaju, ljudi kradu sadržaj iz tuđih pošiljki, a ti kao čovjek više nemaš osjećaj da se možeš osloniti ni na najobičnije stvari. Ali mene još više od svega toga šokiraju ljudi. Toliko hladnoće, toliko nezainteresiranosti, toliko malo empatije, topline i ljudskosti. Sve je nekako tmurno, ljudi su tmurni, atmosfera je tmurna, kao da je cijela zemlja izgubila dušu. I nemojte mi samo govoriti kako je Njemačka nekome nešto dala! Što je Njemačka dala meni? Ja sam ovoj zemlji dala svoje godine, svoj život, svoj trud, svoj rad, svoju energiju i svoje osmijehe. Dala sam joj puno više nego što je ona ikada dala meni. I zato mi nemojte govoriti da trebam biti zahvalna samo zato što živim ovdje. Čovjek može biti zahvalan za neke prilike, ali to ne znači da mora zatvarati oči pred onim što vidi i doživljava. Ovdje sam provela godine, radila, trudila se, davala sebe i svoju energiju, a posljednjih godina imam osjećaj da je sve postalo jedno veliko ruglo. Gdje su nestali poštenje, ljudskost, empatija i normalno ponašanje? Kako je moguće da je toliko toga postalo normalno što nikada ne bi smjelo biti normalno? I da, govorim ono što mislim, bez uljepšavanja i bez straha da se nekome neće svidjeti. Njemačka za mene nije nikakav raj. Sve manje je zemlja u kojoj čovjek osjeća toplinu, a sve više mjesto na kojem se pitam što uopće još tražim. Jer nije poanta samo živjeti negdje. Poanta je osjećati se kao čovjek, okružen ljudima koji imaju srce, obraz i barem malo empatije. A kada ti toga godinama sve više nedostaje, onda se zapitaš je li ovo uopće život kakav si zamišljao. I najviše me nasmije kada netko kaže: „Meni je Njemačka sve dala.” Drago mi je zbog svakoga kome je pomogla, ali ja mogu govoriti samo u svoje ime. Ja sam Njemačkoj dala svoje godine, svoj rad, svoj trud, svoju energiju i svoje osmijehe.
