A Swiss-themed dinner party with, my old SCHOOL FRIENDS 😂🇨🇭 I’ve known these lads since I was about five, and yesterday they came over with their wives and partners for an evening inspired by my recent trip to Switzerland. We started with crispy potato rösti with Gruyère, nutmeg and herbs, topped with sautéed garlic miso mushrooms. Then out came the raclette machine, which I’ve had for years and really don’t use enough. Melted raclette cheese over boiled potatoes with loads of toppings… honestly, what’s not to love? 🧀 And to finish: chocolate orange brownie with white chocolate ice cream. Nobody was leaving hungry. But the best bit was sitting around the table, laughing and digging up memories with people who knew me long before the doctor bit. All these years later, still the same lads. Just better cheese #doctoramirkhan #doctoramir #swissnight #switzerland
Beyoncé’s Message via Official Site: “My family and I started attending St. John’s Church when I was just a little girl, maybe 10 or 11 years old. Pastor Rudy had just founded the church, and back then, it was a small congregation. But it felt like a family. There was a warmth in that church, a familiarity, a sense of belonging. It was a place where I truly felt connected to God. That’s where I really learned to sing. I learned to feel a song before even thinking about the notes. I’d sit with the melody, study it, think about the words and what they meant to me. It wasn’t just about singing something beautifully. I remember when we opened the Knowles-Roland Youth Center in 1999. We were so young and had just received our first number one single with Destiny’s Child. One of the first things we wanted to do was give back to the community that had given us so much. When I was a kid, our house was always full of children. My mom had that kind of home where everyone knew they could come if they needed a place to stay. If someone was struggling in school, getting bullied, or getting into some trouble, they knew they could come to our house.” — Beyoncé on the opening of 31 housing centers built by her and Kelly Rowland in Houston
Expected to drop before the end of the year, @LolaYounggg’s new album is more “joyous and reflective” than her past work. The change in sound reflects a year of personal transformation. “It’s a change in how I feel about myself. It’s a change in how I feel about my world,” she says in the November 2026 issue. “For me, my goal isn’t to be happy. My goal is to be content and feel stable. But happiness is a bonus.” Click the link in bio to read the interview, and see the full story in the new issue, on newsstands Tuesday 20 October. #LolaYoung photographed by @Mel.Bles and styled by @Harry_Lambert, with hair by @MustafaYanaz, make-up by @LaurenFReynolds, nails by @AngelsNailz, tailoring by @_DellaGeorge, set design by @EmmaRoachStudio, production by @AmeliaStudios, creative consultant by @Look.Inc and words by @KateLloud.
