Public executions have become rare around the world. Last year, Amnesty International documented only two countries that carried them out: Iran and Taliban-run Afghanistan. Now, the US says it wants to livestream an execution. It would be the first public execution there in about 90 years. What does a government gain by putting punishment on display? #dwcurrentaffairs

The American government doesnt want people to watch an execution. The American people want to watch an execution and our government will allow it. Get your shit straight DW.
