The Bright Years!!!! I loved that book so much. My other favorites that I read this year were James, My Friends, The Book of Lost Names and The Book Thief! Probably a lot different from those you’ve mentioned but I absolutely adored The Bright Years so I figured I’d add my recs!

Have you already read ‘We All Want Impossible Things’ by Catherine Newman? It’s my favourite of hers! I’m assuming you’ve read Sorrow and Bliss - I re-read recently and loved it so much. Likewise Standard Deviation 🙌
