Now wait a minute 😂😂😂😂 This fictional Chinese parody takes one of the most overused promises in sanitary pad advertising, extreme absorbency and pushes it so far that the product becomes completely absurd. The creative brilliance is in the misdirection. Everything initially looks like a dramatic survival film, only for the story to suddenly turn into a ridiculous product demonstration. The pad doesn’t just absorb a little liquid it drains an entire lake, turning a familiar advertising claim into the punchline. It works because the parody understands the visual language of category advertising. The exaggerated demonstration, dramatic setup and impossible product performance are all familiar tropes making the absurdity instantly recognisable. And importantly, the video openly identifies itself as fictional entertainment, making the parody clear rather than presenting the spoof brand as a real commercial product. Because the best parody ads don’t invent a completely new advertising language they take a familiar one and push it to an impossible extreme.
