Our country is filled with negative news; just when we thought we were doing the right thing, all we actually did was tarnish the reputation of a woman who brought us great joy. We wanted to position ourselves as great defenders, yet we failed to realize we were ruining the homecoming of someone who had achieved something wonderful. It is also deeply regrettable to see death threats being sent to former beauty queens from our country, there is a line that shouldn't be crossed. You can certainly say, "I don't like this candidate" or "I won't support her," but that gives us no right to wish death upon someone only God decides who remains in this world. I admit that I, too, have made mistakes... but someone always comes along to remind you that life isn't just about hate or tearing others down, everyone deserves a chance, and we are all here to fulfill a purpose. All I will say is that I feel sadness and shame regarding everything that surrounded
@shyareandradee victory, what should have been a wonderful homecoming and a source of good news turned into something toxic. I hope we take a moment to reflect and stop letting our emotions rule us let's have more love and empathy.
