After years of working in professional skincare, I’ve developed a proprietary, science-based app to help me look deeper into what a formulation may actually deliver.

This is a private research tool I use to support my recommendations. It brings together formulation analysis, published ingredient research, and my professional experience to evaluate thousands of over-the-counter skincare treatments available in the U.S.

I look beyond a product’s headline ingredient. What role does each ingredient play? Is there evidence supporting its use for your concern? Are relevant concentrations disclosed? Does the delivery system support stability or help ingredients reach their intended target? And does the complete formula make sense for your skin?

The app helps me compare products by concern, age range, product type, and preferred price range—from affordable discoveries to extraordinary luxury treatments. A more impressive story or price tag doesn’t always mean better results.

I also distinguish research on an individual ingredient from testing on the finished product. Those are different levels of evidence—and both matter when assessing a claim.

My goal is to identify treatments with a credible basis for meaningful results and explain WHY they deserve your attention.
