ยินดีกับบ่าวสาวนะคะ แต่ไม่มีรูปกับบ่าวสาวเลย 😅
In February 2024, Lauren Bannon started waking up with oddly stiff hands. She said her pinky fingers, “weren’t bending in the morning and night.” Then came heart palpitations, and what seemed like acid reflux. She was never sick like this – something was deeply…off.

A specialist told her she had rheumatoid arthritis. She tried to push on—she felt too young for arthritis. But in September, excruciating stomach pain drove her to seek answers.

Lauren had used ChatGPT before, but only for her work running a marketing business. She began entering her symptoms and blood results, looking for patterns across months of data that no single appointment could easily address.

When she asked, “What mimics rheumatoid arthritis?” ChatGPT pointed her toward Hashimoto’s disease, an autoimmune thyroid condition where the body attacks itself. ChatGPT urged a specific next step: “Get your doctor to test your TPO level,” referring to a thyroid antibody.

Lauren pushed for the test, and despite her T3 and T4 levels being within the normal range, her thyroid peroxidase antibodies came back roughly six times the normal level, pointing to Hashimoto’s disease.

Doctors discovered two cancerous lumps in her neck, including an aggressive mutation likely related to the Hashimoto’s. Lauren then underwent a full thyroid removal, lymph-node surgery, and radioactive iodine to kill the remaining cancer cells, with ongoing scans to monitor whether it’s still in her neck.

She believes ChatGPT intervened just in time to prevent the disease from spreading unchecked. Had she simply taken the arthritis medication and done nothing, “God knows where it would have gone,” she said.

ChatGPT empowered Lauren to advocate for herself, ask for the tests she needed, and keep fighting until the healthcare system responded. “It really saved my life.”
