Actor Imran Khan is reportedly preparing to approach the Bombay High Court after the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) directed him to leave India by October 28, 2026. The notice, dated October 14, follows Khan’s reported participation in a demonstration near Mumbai’s August Kranti Maidan on October 10, where protesters demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Khan is an American citizen and holds an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card. The matter escalated after BJP leader Kirit Somaiya reportedly complained to the authorities, questioning Khan’s participation in a political demonstration as a foreign citizen. Mumbai Police subsequently forwarded the complaint to the FRRO, which issued the departure notice under provisions of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025. Khan’s lawyers have reportedly indicated that they will challenge the notice before the Bombay High Court and seek an urgent hearing. They argue that the order lacks sufficient legal justification and does not clearly specify the conditions he allegedly violated. The proposed legal challenge could determine the next course of action in the case as the October 28 deadline approaches. #ImranKhan #BombayHighCourt #MumbaiNews #india #mews

Polislər azyaşlını valideynlərinin əlindən alaraq polis bölməsinə aparır Hicab etirazları fonunda həbslərin miqyası genişlənir. Yeni yayılan bu kadrlarda polisin azyaşlını bölməyə aparmağa cəhd etdiyi, vətəndaşların isə buna müqavimət göstərdiyi iddia olunur. Videonun dəqiq koordinatları bəlli deyil. Aksiyalara görə saxlanılanların ümumi sayı, onların saxlanma şəraiti və vəkil hüququndan istifadə edib-etməməsi qaranlıq qalır. Üstəlik, son günlər polisin vətəndaşları gecə saatlarında birbaşa evlərindən apardığına dair siqnallar gəlir. Ölkədəki son repressiya dalğasının hüquq müdafiə təşkilatlarını, QHT sektorunu və müstəqil medianı iflic etməsi faktiki informasiya blokadası yaradıb - baş verənlərin hüquqi detalları barədə təsdiqlənmiş məlumat almaq, demək olar ki, qeyri-mümkündür.
6 Charlotte Cops May Soon Be Unemployed After Racist Group Chat Exposes Alleged Competition to Pull Over Black Drivers Bogged by: Grace L. A disturbing police scandal is unfolding in North Carolina, where six Charlotte officers have been suspended without pay amid allegations that members of the force exchanged racist text messages, including discussions about competing to pull over Black motorists. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) has recommended terminating six officers following an internal investigation into the messages. Another officer connected to the controversy reportedly resigned, bringing the number of personnel implicated in the broader investigation to at least seven. According to WBTV, sources familiar with the investigation claim officers participated in a group conversation that included a competition over who could stop the most Black drivers. The messages also allegedly featured repeated use of the N-word in conversations concerning police use of force and discharging firearms at Black residents. One particularly troubling message, obtained by WCNC, reportedly came from an officer who acknowledged that “our texts sound like a clan rally.” The comparison has intensified concerns about racial discrimination within the department, especially considering that officers are entrusted with enforcing laws fairly, regardless of race. The disturbing messages reportedly surfaced during an unrelated criminal investigation involving former CMPD officer Seth Elliott. Investigators with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation were examining allegations that Elliott improperly accessed Flock Safety license plate recognition technology and other law enforcement resources. Court documents reportedly accuse Elliott of using police technology to assist someone connected to a drug investigation. During that inquiry, investigators obtained data from his cellphone and subsequently discovered the alleged racist conversations involving other officers. The findings prompted CMPD to launch its own internal investigation, ultimately resulting in the disciplinary recommendations.
