Menteri Kehutanan (Menhut) Raja Juli Antoni mengawal pengendalian Karhutla di Kalimantan Selatan, Senin (12/10).

Raja Juli menjelaskan, berdasarkan data Sipongi Kemenhut kondisi hotspot Kalsel mencatat angka hotspot terbaik di Kalimantan.

"Dan per hari ini tercatat alhamdulillah Kalimantan Selatan angka hotspot-nya terbaik di Kalimantan. Kita masih punya tantangan di Kalimantan Tengah dan Kalimantan Barat namun hal itu tidak membuat kita terlena," ucap Raja Juli, Senin (12/10).

Dia mengatakan, penurunan hotspot merupakan hasil koordinasi dengan pemerintah dan juga relawan dalam menangani karhutla.

Dia menyebut, berdasarkan informasi dari Badan Meteorologi klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) hujan alami akan turun pada bulan November.

"Oleh karena itu masih ada 1 bulan lagi dimana saya berharap Pak Gubernur, Pak Kapolda, Pak Pamdal, Manggala Agni dan relawan semuanya tetap waspada," ucapnya.
