@prejudicemailman hi i just wanted to share some Light with you as well even though you didnt ask me, i hope that’s okay:) My brother went to the navy, he finished around ‘24. So i know for you, embarking on this new life changing journey will be hard. Itll be one crazy adjustment. Youll be changing environments. Mannerisms. Routine. Your inner circle. Your mindset. Everything. And eventually ur individual self will get accustomed to how things work in that world. But i know that if theres one thing that will keep anyone sane throughout the whole process, its Jesus. His word. His Gospel. His life. His Spirit of Truth. So really the only advice i have for you is to STAY in the Word. Remind yourself of the Word. Dwell in it:) Its not about “finding” time i would say, but CHOOSING to still spend time with the Lord despite a chaotic schedule/life, and He will reward your obedience! It says in Matthew “Seek FIRST the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.” So before everything; in everything, in every trial, every rejoicing moment, every spiritual battle, every decision, every word you say, every thought you think, let the Lord be first. God will always have His arms outstretched to you. Its only on us to reach back out to Him. There is only peace in the name of Jesus. The fruits of the Holy Spirit are love, joy, peace, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, patience, goodness and self control. Which are all fruits we produce when we continue to focus and dwell in Jesus, His Word. God is constantly reconstructing our minds and it takes a daily practice. Which is why we’re called to put on the armor of God DAILY:) We’re in the battle (no pun intended lol) for Heaven until our Fathers second coming! So i pray that when youre facing darkness and even light, that you remember The Heavenly Father which all things/life comes from. We have the most beautiful, intentional Creator. He designed your life perfectly! Trust in Him always. Remember Him always. Seek Him always. Our faith is a practice. Our salvation is eternal. Jesus loves you brother. So much. The most actually. Keeping you in my prayers! God bless you always❤️
