Two cities, two different approaches to regulating Waymo. The big question I haven’t seen an answer to is what will happen to Uber and Lyft drivers once we all start to rely on autonomous vehicles. It seems to be like the conversation we all had about taxis with the advent of rideshare. @fox9 #minnesotanews #waymo #autonomous #vehicle #minneapolis

The whole point of rideshare was for these big companies To spend money on Uber and Lyft, which don’t make money heads up guys. Those companies don’t make money. They let me repeat again. Those companies do not make money they were solely made or designed to produce these types of vehicles, so then these companies can invest in driverless cars, which is gonna be much more profitable than if you have to pay someone.

Recently they found a waymo sitting outside of a school entrance for 2 weeks. What information was ot taking and where does that info go. They should be regulated. It is adding to the surveillance state.

That is stupid plain and simple. MPLS and STP need this option. Not everyone likes riding with others and @waymo is a great and safe choice. So #MPLS and #STP stop being ass-holes.

The real reason is so that unskilled workers aka the Somalis and other Africans are the overwhelming majority of drivers. If they all lost their jobs the state would go deeper into welfare debt which then would result in more family welfare and eventually crime. You aren't fooling anyone. This is on the same level as keep liquor stores up during covid.
