We came to Jordan as volunteers and left as family. 🥹🤍 So many beautiful memories, genuine connections, and friendships I’ll cherish forever. My heart is so full.

What’s worth crossing L.A. for? Monica Padman has a few ideas.

Welcome to ”What Makes L.A., L.A.”, our new series hosted by Monica (@mlpadman), an L.A. resident of 16 years who has some serious restaurant recs all across town. She’ll be going behind the scenes to learn from the people who make each neighborhood special.

First stop: Melrose Hill – the ideal neighborhood to park your car and spend the day exploring on foot. Watch the full video for Monica’s go-to spots.

Hello, if you’re new around here, I’m still feeling a little bit nervous about all the new faces.
You’ll soon find that I love a list and I love a bit of a rant. It really does help to get things off your chest.
What’s annoying you right now?
