To the people who help us shout inclusion from all corners of the world… thank you for believing in my baby and all others like him.

Believing in his story quite literally helped us build his playground. Forever grateful God chose me to be his mommy.

His angels (his PT and OT) forever helping him believe God has a purpose with his little life 🤟🏻

A lesson all of us could hover over longer… Just because we can’t do something, doesn’t mean it eliminates us from doing anything. He can’t bend easily. He struggles to get from point A to point B. He can’t run (yet), or jump (yet), or even crawl over mom like most other kids could. But he can sing! He can dance! He can be silly and tell jokes. He can make people realize that life is a gift, and I don’t know, maybe you need to hear that just because one area of your life is hard, doesn’t make it all suddenly not worth it. Maybe the biggest decision you need to make right now is whether you’ll give a hallelujah to the life God has given you in the now, where your feet are, whether you can bend like everyone else or not. Life is heavy and when handed that heavy, we could buckle and collapse from the pressure. We could quit. We could hide. We could get angry. We all could. Because of the diagnosis. Because of the job. Because of the relationship. Because of the loss. Because of the… well, world. But there’s something powerful in knowing that His hand is in all of it. Take Bedford’s life for example. We began sharing his story as a Hail Mary to hopefully find others out there like him… and look at what God did with this heavy. He said, “I’m gonna help the world carry it with you.” Good will come from it. So much good will come from it. It’s heavy because it matters. But also, you matter. Every life does. And you know what?
