Raw reaction. I had to sit down for a minute or two just to take it all in. 🥹🇨🇦

From endless nights of reading and researching how to move to another country, to getting my student permit, transitioning to a work permit, and living with the uncertainty of whether I’d even get to stay.

There was a time when I couldn’t even decide if I should buy a new pan to cook my meals in because I didn’t know how much longer I’d be calling this place home.

And now, here I am, staring at a notification saying there’s an update on my permanent residency application.

It’s crazy how much life can change. And how something that once felt so uncertain can slowly become the life you’ve been building all along.

Hi, Canada. I guess you’ll be seeing a lot more versions of me. ❤️🍁
