Holy shit what an incredible weekend! Honestly not really sure where to start with this one 😅
Was running around so much dealing with flight delays trying to make it in time for the @aushardstyleawards that I didn’t even think about preparing a speech. Hope you all enjoyed my improvised Naruto run back to the lectern though, what better way to receive an award for Happy Hardcore than to make it a typical Happy Hardcore cringe moment 🤣
That being said, I did want to properly thank everybody for the support. I’ve been DJing for a bit over three years and producing for less than half of that, but I’ve learnt and grown so much already.
The Happy Hardcore community is small, but genuinely one of the most supportive in hard dance. Nobody’s here because it’s trendy or popular, we’re all here because we genuinely love this music and want to see it thrive. Everyone works so hard to push the sound forward and lift each other up, and I think this award represents everyone doing their part to keep Happy Hardcore alive, whether on stage, in the studio or behind the scenes ❤️
Huge thank you to everyone who’s helped me grow as a producer over the last 12 months, from giving me feedback to roasting me into oblivion and helping me figure out where I need to improve! @mentaofficial.uk and @jakkab have been instrumental in teaching me how to produce and write, @technikoredj @dj_jts and @djweaverofficial for all the mixdown feedback, and @officialnohero and @tatsunoshinmusic for the advice, late night conversations, collabs and shitposting. Please go show these people some love, they’ve helped me more than they probably realise!
And to everyone who’s supported me along the way, especially those who’ve continued to believe in me and quietly pushed for me behind the scenes, even when they haven’t been able to be there in person, thank you. There’s a lot of support that goes unseen, and I don’t take any of it for granted. 🔥
I wouldn’t be where I am without everyone who’s put their faith in me. I’m forever grateful to be part of this community.
Happy Hardcore has the most supportive community in hard dance, and I’ll never believe otherwise!
