My name is Treva Jones and I am a survivor of domestic violence, and I’m also a cancer survivor. I had cancer 13 years ago and then suffered from fibromyalgia, neuropathy arthritis in my spine and a whole bunch of other illnesses and now the cancer has returned I have stage 4 breast and lung cancer. I wish I could be there I’m supposed to be in ATL now for the big Jump with my 40+Double Dutch Sisters but the flights was to expensive and my birthday is October 24 wish I could be there love what you ladies are doing 🙌❤️🙏🏾

As a victim of domestic violence and abuse walking away from someone who said they love me an beating me in the same breath was not easy. I walked away to live and see another day. I walked away cause enough was enough. I walked away to show my daughters that that wasn’t love I walked away to show my son that’s definitely not how you love a woman. My cries went on death ears. The state of Georgia failed me. Sometimes I blame myself for not walking away sooner.The pain never goes away the nightmares make it hard to sleep. I’m still searching for peace while thanking God for giving me strength and courage.
