In 2015, Mitski delivered one of NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series’ most unforgettable moments with her performance of “Class of 2013.” Armed with just an acoustic guitar, she transformed a song about the anxieties of growing up, uncertainty, and the yearning for maternal comfort into something profoundly intimate. The standout element of this performance is when Mitski sings directly into the guitar’s soundhole. This unconventional technique creates a distorted resonance that adds another layer of raw desperation to her voice, perfectly capturing the fear and vulnerability of entering adulthood before truly being ready. It’s a powerful display of artistic expression that continues to resonate with fans. #Mitski #ClassOf2013 #TinyDesk #NPR #IndieMusic
As usual 🍸
It’s what we do here... we mix & we match! Sweater dresses are all the thing (because it’s where comfort meets style in the best way possible) so l’Il round up several that may have slightly different fits but all these styling ideas work the same... it’s pretty much a copy & paste situation! Comment YES PLEASE!
