Let me explain what's happening in a session like this. The wooden machines you see are Reformers, which use a sliding platform called a carriage and adjustable springs for resistance. One exercise we love outside is Footwork. You lie on your back with your feet on the bar, press the carriage out until your legs are long, then slowly return. It sounds simple, but it builds leg strength, teaches control, and warms up your entire body. I stay close by to make sure your alignment is spot on, which is why we keep sessions small and personal.
🌴 Outdoor movement is easier on the mind and great for breath work
🌴 Spring resistance is gentler on joints than heavy weights
🌴 Ideal for beginners and for Pilates rehabilitation after an injury
🌴 Private Pilates lessons come first so you learn proper form before group Pilates classes
If you're in the LA area like Encino, Malibu, studio city, or anywhere nearby in the west Valley and have been searching for a Pilates studio that actually teaches you the method, come see how we work.
let's build your foundation together.
