It’s the end of day 2 and we have 4 walls!
I’m really so excited to see this coming together. I’ve been dreaming about it since we moved in and to see it coming together in real life just as it’s been in my mind for 3 years is everything!
It may seem like we really didn’t do too much on day 2 but so much time was spent checking level and plumb and rechecking before tacking everything in place. While we do have a goal of getting this done in 6 days…that doesn’t mean I’m going to rush through it.
Admittedly I thought we’d have the roof rafters in place by day 2, but that heavy back wall really took much more time than I anticipated. No worries here though…we still have 4 more days to get it done.
Make sure you come back tomorrow to see what progress we make. Who thinks we’ll get the ridge board and rafters ALL in place?!
