Well, that took a turn! 😱

One year ago, Skyler got behind the wheel after a night of partying and, while under the influence, hit Nate, the star quarterback, who tragically died.

Or so she thought…

Now, a year later, she starts seeing him lurking around. But what does he want? And is Nate really back, or is there more to what happened that night than Skyler remembers?

The only way out is in a body bag.

This was the PERFECT read for this time of year! 🎃 There was so much anger, manipulation and tension woven throughout the story, and it really felt as though Nate was out for revenge. The question was, just how far would things go?

This was a short, fast-paced read, but don’t let the length fool you. There was SO much packed into this story, and I loved how everything kept me questioning what I thought I knew.

Last night, I was 80% through, struggling to keep my eyes open, but I simply couldn’t put it down! I needed to know what had really happened on the night of the accident because something just wasn’t adding up.

There were little clues scattered throughout the book that made me question whether we had the full story, and I loved trying to piece everything together as I read.

And then… THE EPILOGUE! 😱

Just when I thought I had a handle on what was happening, the story gave me even more to think about!

A short, gripping and twist-filled read that kept me turning the pages right until the very end. This was such a great choice for spooky season, and that ending definitely left an impression!
