These guys were and are my heroes ..my caped crusaders 🦸🏽‍♂️except that they didn’t and don’t carry capes .

It was and Is guitars, 🎸microphones🎤, keyboards 🎹 and their individual personalities🙌 .. and now one of them is gone 😭😢

I didn’t know what to say when I spoke to @udaybenegal & @zubinbalaporia today but perhaps they sensed how I was feeling . ☹️

A vital part of my childhood and adolescence was discovering #zubins keyboard solo in #karen when I was 13 years old playing the #rocknrollrenegade album on cassette LOUD bringing the house down, #uday spitting out the lyrics to #chainsandblackleather … but why I reached for my tennis racket and played air guitar in front of the mirror in my room - - over and over again - was always @sheeshling mahesh tinaikars mind bending solos that elevated each track. 🎵🎶

Later there was acoustic guitar heaven in ’sleep’ and ‘pretty child’ and ofcourse the definitive playing in the ’evolve’ album. ⭐️

Oh it’s been a cruel year and my heart reaches out to all of Mahesh’s loved ones 💔

Go in peace dear sire ❤️and know that you eased the pain for lakhs of us with your infinite talent and that extension of your very body …. The sweet guitar 🙏
