Donkey is one of the most beloved characters in DreamWorks’ Shrek franchise, voiced by Eddie Murphy. Introduced in the original 2001 film, Donkey is a relentlessly talkative, energetic, and loyal companion who befriends Shrek despite the ogre’s attempts to get rid of him. His nonstop jokes, singing, and inability to respect personal space make him a perfect contrast to Shrek’s grumpy personality.
One surprising fact is that Donkey falls in love with a dragon, and they eventually have six hybrid children called Dronkeys, combining donkey and dragon features. Eddie Murphy’s energetic voice performance helped turn Donkey into one of animation’s most recognizable comic sidekicks. He’s also responsible for some of the franchise’s funniest moments, proving that sometimes the most annoying friend is also the one who will never abandon you.

Tiramisu Canyon, officially known as the Kyzylkup Tract, is a spectacular natural formation in the Mangystau region of western Kazakhstan. It is famous for its hills covered in alternating red, white, pink, and brown stripes that resemble the layers of an Italian tiramisu dessert. These colorful formations developed over millions of years as sediments accumulated in an ancient sea. Iron-rich minerals produced the reddish colors, while chalk deposits created the pale layers. Wind and water erosion gradually sculpted the landscape into its distinctive rounded hills. One of the most surprising facts is that this dry, desert-like landscape was once beneath an ancient ocean. The region’s geological history is so rich that marine fossils, including shark teeth, can be found in parts of Mangystau. The nickname “Tiramisu” was actually invented by local tour guides because the formations look so much like the famous dessert. Nature essentially spent millions of years baking a gigantic cake, only to make the entire thing out of rock. Like this content? Follow us for more @dadsaysjokes ❤️
A good advert grabs attention, communicates a clear message, and gives people a reason to remember or buy a product. The best advertisements understand their audience, use compelling visuals or storytelling, and highlight a benefit that matters to customers. Humor, emotion, surprise, and clever headlines can make an advert memorable, but the message must remain simple and believable. An advert that entertains everyone but leaves nobody remembering the product has missed its purpose. Interestingly, some of the world’s most successful advertisements barely explain the product at all. Campaigns like Nike’s “Just Do It” and Apple’s “Think Different” became iconic because they connected products with emotions, identity, and ambition. Great advertising doesn’t always convince people to buy something immediately. Sometimes it simply makes a brand impossible to forget. Like this content? Follow us for more @dadsaysjokes ❤️
Harrison Ford is an American actor best known for playing Han Solo in Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Born in 1942, Ford struggled to establish himself in Hollywood and worked as a carpenter before his breakthrough in American Graffiti (1973). He later starred in classics such as Blade Runner, The Fugitive, Air Force One, and Witness, earning an Academy Award nomination for the latter. Remarkably, he became one of Hollywood’s biggest action stars without following the traditional muscular action-hero formula. One surprising fact is that Ford is also a licensed pilot who has flown airplanes and helicopters for decades, including participating in real-life search-and-rescue operations. He reportedly helped install cabinets at George Lucas’s offices before becoming Han Solo, although he had already worked professionally as an actor. Ford is also famous for his dry humor and famously grumpy interview persona. Few actors have managed to play two of cinema’s most iconic heroes while giving the impression they’d rather be home fixing a kitchen cabinet. Like this content? Follow us for more @dadsaysjokes ❤️
The K in words like “knife” used to be pronounced. In Old and Middle English, knife was spoken with a real k sound at the beginning, closer to “k-nife.” The same was true for knee, knight, know, knock, and knot. Over several centuries, English speakers gradually stopped pronouncing the K before N, but spelling remained largely frozen. So the K is basically a linguistic fossil. It tells us how the word used to sound even though it contributes absolutely nothing to modern pronunciation. English could remove it, but apparently the K has had tenure since the Middle Ages and nobody has the authority to fire it. Like this content? Follow us for more @dadsaysjokes ❤️
Bones produce osteocalcin, a hormone released by bone-forming cells. Research has shown that during acute stress or fear, osteocalcin levels can rise quickly and help shift the body away from its calm “rest-and-digest” state toward a stronger fight-or-flight response. So bones are not just passive scaffolding. They also act as part of the endocrine system and communicate with organs like the brain and muscles. Your skeleton is basically doing more than holding you upright; in a crisis, it may also be helping your body say, “Something is wrong, prepare immediately.” Like this content? That old Nokia-style phone keypad is usually called a 12-key numeric keypad or telephone keypad. It had the digits 0–9, plus * and #, with letters grouped under the numbers, such as 2 = ABC, 3 = DEF, 4 = GHI. Typing words on it was called multi-tap texting: you pressed the same key several times to get the letter you wanted. Later, systems like T9 predictive text made it much faster by guessing the word from one press per letter. People who grew up with it could type astonishingly fast without looking, which now feels like an extinct form of wizardry. Like this content? Follow us for more @dadsaysjokes ❤️

No NFA approval doesn't mean no federal firearms regulations. The fight doesn't end here. While the ATF has stopped enforcing certain NFA requirements, the Gun Control Act of 1968 remains in full effect. Suppressors, SBRs, SBSs, and AOWs are still considered firearms under federal law. That means prohibited persons still cannot possess them, licensed dealers must continue completing Form 4473s and conducting required background checks, and existing restrictions on interstate sales and transfers still apply. Swipe through for a breakdown of the Gun Control Act requirements that still apply. Source: ATF Open Letter & Updated NFA Guidance, October 9, 2026. Not intended to be and is not legal advice.
