According to @local10news, #NathaliaGadelhaFilgueiras, 20, has been identified as the co-pilot of the jet. Air traffic control recordings have been released, showcasing the panic before the jet slammed into the ground. ____________________________________ The flight was heading from Texas to the Bahamas, according to @wfla. Filgueiras was heard on air traffic control audio announcing that the plane was falling, saying, “We’re going to crash into the ground.” ____________________________________
Her mother told the @nytimes that she had logged over 1,300 hours of flight time and earned her pilot’s license at 17. The National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the fatal crash as they work to reconstruct the aircraft’s final moments. So much to be grateful for, so much more to come 💘

A business jet crashed in Florida killing all nine people on board, the US transport secretary has said.

The aircraft had departed from Austin, Texas, and was headed to the Bahamas when it crashed some nine miles from Mar-a-Lago, President Donald Trump's resort in Florida.

Flight analysis suggests that the jet was plummeting hundreds of feet per second before crashing but nobody on the ground was hurt.
