C O L O U R Curations

Materiality that matters 🌿

My clients wanted the renovation of their home in rural NSW to nestle amongst the landscape and reflect their surroundings. Each material selection was made with this is mind.

The beautiful wool carpet has a stunning honeycomb texture and is both luxurious & soft underfoot.

The kitchen tiles bought both colour and texture to the splash back. The quantity of surface variations available ensured that the final effect was as random as any surface you would find in nature. The light coming through the kitchen windows highlights the variation in depth of colour and gives a dappled effect to the surface.

The large format bathroom tiles were placed both on the floor and full height on the walls, cocooning my clients in the softest of colours and subtle pattern.

The neutrals & sea foam colourings sit beautifully alongside walls painted in Dulux Snowy Mountains Half.

My clients have had bespoke pieces of furniture and cabinetry made from pieces of Blackwood from their previous property. These add character & depth to the interiors. The addition of rich timber ceiling fans creates an intentional contrast to the timber lined ceilings and a cluster of glass pendant lights offset above the kitchen island create a beautiful focal point.

A cohesive design signature is now clearly evident between the original home and the newly appointed addition. All trades were exceptional and the clients an absolute pleasure to work with.
